A few years ago I wrote the sleeve note to Bristol Archive Records’ Bristol Punk Explosion 1977 -1983 compilation album, for which I interviewed several local bands. I’m now working on expanding this into a book on the whole Bristol punk scene of the 70s and 80s, and would like to hear from any musicians, promoters, fanzine writers, fans and anyone else who was active on the scene.
